Medical Billing Classes

Testimonials

After researching other institutions offering medical billing/coding courses in the area, I opted to attend comprehensive billing services, and completed the course in may 20 10 . Anna's method of presenting the material was wonderful! The information was clear & precise, and the hands-on segment definitely prepared me for the workplace. I am currently employed as a certified medical biller/coder, and feel her course made the transition into my new career a much easier one. I would definitely recommend her to anyone considering the course!

I took CBS's coding and billing course in 2005. Upon completing the course, I was hired as a medical biller and have been working steadily for the same employer ever since. I would reccomend this well rounded very hands on course to anyone looking to get into the medical billing field.

Anna Redar, president of Comprehensive Billing Services, offers the best opportunities to learn all aspects of medical billing. You will learn everything from registration, on to charge posting, electronic claim filling, payment posting accounts receivable, claims follow-up and end of month closing procedures in a mere three months worth of time. That is meeting only twice a week for two hours of class time

From the moment you start the class until the final exam, every class is a "HANDS ON" class. You have actual patient registrations to enter, charges to post, of course, coding accuracy is expected, and finally working actual accounts receivable. All while physically doing this at a computer monitor, which you would be doing in a "REAL" office situation, you are continually learning necessary medical terminology, medical coding, anatomy and more. Your ability to read and post payments from actual EOB's is phenomenal.

I took the final exam in Anna's course and walked away being able to confidentily find a job in any medical office situation from basic front office registration to the position I obtained as an outpatient surgery facility coder and biller. Obviously coding is only a small part of the whole billing process, however the way Anna presented it, made me especially fond of it, and I have since gone to obtain my Certified Professional Coder certificate through the American Academy of Professional Coders.

Currently working as a medical coder and biller in a billing office in Northwest Indiana, I have seen several externs and graduates from local colleges stating their course of study was medical billing and coding. The amount of time and money they have spent to be so ill-perpared for the medical billing community is very unfortunate. They come through trying to find a job and they either cannot read an EOB, of do not know that the wrist is a joint. I am not quite sure what they are being taught, but they need to take a lesson from Anna Redar and visit her CBS Office to get a "REAL lesson in medical billing and coding.

I took my final exam in Anna's class in June of 2009. August 3, 2009 I started my current job as a medical coder and biller. Anna and I have remained friendly by my frequent stops at Comprehensive Billing Services and by frequent phone calls. I will always be grateful to Anna for teaching such a fabulous class, therefore leading me to a job I can honestly say, "I love what I do"
